I Craft So Hard

I Craft So Hard

“I craft so hard I sweat GLITTER” is one of my favorite sentiment saying in the August Stamp of the Month, S1808 For The Love of Crafting.  This card is fun to make with the left over pieces of glitter paper and shimmer tape you have around.    Gold Glitter Gems and some Prisma Glitter adds some more bling to the card.  =)

There is a free Kit of the Month for everyone who gets this stamp set for $5.00 with a $50.00 purchase.  The “matching” card using the same sentiment, from the kit is this:

This card uses one of the embossing folders to create a base of the card.  Documented paper for the other pieces along with some gold glitter paper!  Best of all – all of this is cut for you when you get the kit.  You’ll need the stamp set, the embossing folder, pen/markers, along with the stapler.  So nice to just get a kit to put together when you get it.  Envelopes are included.

Did I mention if you join our team, WWStampettes, in August, I’ll send you this kit as well for free because it’s so awesome!  Come and join our fun!!

Thanks for stopping by my corner of the internet.  Thank you all for being sweet friends of the crafty world.  Have a creative day!

Thanks A Bunch

Thanks A Bunch

Here is the same card, in two different versions by changing the color of ink that is used to distress the sentiment.  Placement of the bow in a different place, different doodling, and changing out the gem colors and you go from masculine to feminine.

Add coloring to the background, either all of it or just parts of it, and you change up the design again.  We’ll have a few of these on the card buffet for you to personalize to meet your needs.  Coloring is the rage and this card (and the stamp set) allows you to participate in this fun.

Here’s some close ups:

Scrappy First Home

Scrappy First Home

This card is Created from Central Park scraps, thus the name Scrappy first home. The background for the card is knotted on black I’m sorry Pacifica paper. The sentiment is stamps from the July stamp of the month s1807 Highlight Reel.

My friend Jon picked out the house and tree and I fussy cut them from a background and texture paper that had a variety of different houses on it.  I use 3D foam tape both the regular and thin to create dimension so that the tree look like it was behind the house a little bit.

With some leftover Gold Shimmer trim, Central Park sequins,  gold glitter gems, and gray twine, I was able to embellish the card.  The pile of left over embellishments is just as big as the scrap box!  LOL.  Twine is held down with the mini-stapler!  This is such a quick and efficient way to adhere the twine to the card.

July things to keep in mind:

Thanks for stopping by my corner of the internet.  This scrappy First Home card helped to use some of my scraps up.  =)
