You Are My Happy

You Are My Happy:

What a fun shaker, right?  This is another retired stamp set that just called out to be used with this great background paper from Sugar Rush!  Did you get your paper pack yet?  If you have not, it’s retiring on April 30th.  It’s definitely a sweet paper pack.  Here is some of the beautiful things you can create with it:

The little dog is stamped, fussy cut, colored with Shin Han Touch Markers.   Use 3D foam tape to pop the little guy up.

Liquid Glass is great to add highlights on this card.  It’s on the nose, tag, and ice cream cones all around.  If you look at the ice cream cone on the dog, it’s got Clear Shimmer Pen on it first and then the Liquid Glass.

The shaker and dies are from Queen and Company.  The shaker insides are seed beads and sequins from my stash as I was running out of Queen and Company toppings.  This card will be in the Shaker Card Party Buffet in April/May.  Come and Play or host one at your house!

Creepy Treats Shaker Card

This little stamp set B1488 Pumpkin Chevron, has this super cute candy jar on it and I thought it would make a great little shaker.

B1488 Pumpkin ChevronHere’s how you make a shaker:

How to Make a Shaker with typeCollage

Here’s the card I made and I mounted the shaker on it.  “Creepy Treats” comes from D1669 Tasty Terrors.

I fussy cut the little candy corns and made them look like they were falling out.  They are colored with our ShinHan Touch Markers.

I used the quatrefoil embossing folder on the slate panel for textures.  Dry embossing adds so much more to a card.

“Creepy Treats” is from this fun Halloween treat set:

You can see the white beads to create the  noise along with the prisma glitter.  I  “Wink-a-Stella”-ed the glass jar parts that were not cut out.   I also used some black glitter to make it more fun and hide the candy corns which are stamped inside, on the back panel.

When you tip up the card, the black glitter goes down and you can see the candy corn! Super fun.  =)  Thanks for stopping by.
