Love Card
Hi there my creative peeps. I have a beautiful “Love Card” for you. Valentines Day is quickly approaching. Can you believe that? 2017 is quickly passing.
This card is one from my “50 Card Swappers” Linda Black. We loved it and are using it for the Come and Play Card Buffet. The set used is D1713 Hello Lovely Scrapbooking. It’s great to show how stamps can be used for different projects.
The background of on the card is made with Happy Thoughts Embossing Folder. Isn’t it lovely?
Stamp the “Love” and cut it out.
The ribbon is the Blush Shimmer Ribbon. It’s pink in one light but here in the photo, it looks gold!
What I love best about this stamp set is the two step stamping. You stamp the bottom part of the rose in 2nd generation and the top part of the rose in 1st generation. Take the gold shimmer brush (if you like Wink of Stella this is the brush for you with more “juice” and less $) and go over the dark parts of the stamping. Stamp the leaves with Fern on Fern cardstock. Fussy cut out and layer. Use your thin 3D foam tape to give a little bit of a lift to the rose for dimension. Top of with a gold glitter gems. Such a pretty card to express your love.
Thanks for stopping by and have a creative day!
