Let’s have some fun with Carnival Fun, a stamp and thincut combo! I love anything I don’t have to fussy cut.
Using the Magical Paper Pack (all supplies below), C1648 Carnival Fun and the matching thincut dies, Z3229, you can create this fun card. I prefer to stamp my image first and then use the thincuts. I purchased a magnetic platform for my Cuttlebug from Simon Says Stamps which holds the thincut in place when cutting. I find this much easier than trying to stamp on the cut out image.
Use the different colored inks to do your stamping. I love how clean the edges are from the thincuts. Never in a million years, would my fussy cutting look this good. The film strip is created by cutting a strip of the black background and texture paper (B&T) and then cutting out squares of the blue B&T. Add a little dimension by using the thin 3D foam tape under the squares and stamped images.
Stamp “party” and “join in the fun” in Cranberry ink. Distress the edges of the card and the yellow B&T. Use a few sequins from the Magical collection to finish the card off. Super fun and super easy.
Huge thanks to DeAnn B, one of my swappers, for the inspiration of this card! Thanks for stopping by and have a fun day!
