Getting in under the wire for FSM200 as well as Friday Mashup!! Here my card:
Here’s the sketch.
The Friday Mashup was to use at technique and make a birthday card. I did the card with watercolor on the white cardstock and then decided to add some Pearl Ex to the watercolor paint to create the background. I masked the clouds with Masking Fluid.
I used a combination of different stamps to create the saying “Chase Your Birthday Dreams”.
Stamp and cut out balloons – 3D foam tape for dimension. Had some silver thread in my stash. Used it to create the balloon string and create the bow to tie it off.
Oh those birthday balloons are fun! Perfect for a birthday card! Thank you for helping us celebrate 200 at Freshly Made Sketches!
Thanks Linda!

Great idea for the pearly accent in your watercolor effect. It adds more then is expected. Thanks for playing along at Heart 2 Heart. – H2H DT
Thanks Heather. I have found that adding Pearl-Ex to our reinkers/spray pens also works well. =)
