A fellow consultant, Bren Yule, shared Pictaculous with me. It’s amazing. If you are not sure what colors you should use with a picture, this is the site for you! Here’s a picture:

I like that they offer a few different color palettes. I pulled the smokey plum color out of the Kuler suggestions:
I created this layout using a pattern from Make It From Your Heart Volume 1, Pattern 13 (page 30):
I uploaded my pictures to Studio J for photo printing. I know that seems strange to use a digital scrapbooking program for doing this, but cost wise for photos that are off-sized, you save money. An 8×10″ photo from Walgreen is 3.99; I can get two of those plus several other photos for $7.00!! And the photo quality is much better!! Find out more by reading this blog post!
