Rainbow Love
This sunburst card was inspired by our sale “Create a Rainbow”. Did you see the price of a pack of rainbow cardstock? Anyway, I can never have enough paper (well, my darling husband would disagree with me) and picking up a couple of packs lets me create some beautiful projects! Grab your own pack and create this card!
Cut the strips 1″ by 5″ and 1″ x 7″. Then you’ll cut those diagonally so you have several triangles. The base for the sunburst is 5″x 3 3/4″. The black base is 5 1/4″ by 4″. Lay out the rainbow and glue down. Trim off the around the edges and mat on the black.
Stamp the girl from the June Stamp of the Month, A Bushel and A Peck S1806. Color in with Shin Touch markers.
She’s darling. While SG would never wear a dress, she reminds me of her with the crazy hair and sweet smile. =) After you color, fussy cut out leaving a 1/4″ border of white. Mount on black and fussy cut out leaving black border. Mount in the upper right corner of the card using 3D foam tape.
Stamp the sentiment “I love you a bushel and a peck” on white cardstock and mount on black. Adhere to the card base.
Add embellishments as you see fit. I found some red enamel hearts and left over Florence Sequins to use. Love to see your rainbow cards! To encourage rainbow projects, here’s a great workshop you can get free when you purchase $25.00 of product from my website:
Thanks for stopping by my corner of the internet. Enjoy a creative day!
