Friends are better with Coffee

I’ve been working a crop all weekend and am just getting a chance to add to my blog. This is my 2nd entry to the Coffee Lovers’ Blog Hop. This card is a combo of several different products/companies. I was so lucky to win this cute stamp set from Pretty Pink Posh along with the great pink sequins. I’m using the stamp set from the CTMH National Stamping Month Special CC1228 From the Heart to create the flowers on the top of the card. I cut on of the acrlix stamps from the sentiment so that I just had the flowers. The coffee cup is from the retired Jack Cardmaking stamp set and die.

I watercolored the flowers and the two friends with the CTMH Watercolor Pencils and our wonderful waterbrushes where you can have water in the brush so you don’t have to have a cup of water to rinse brushes off. You know what a disaster a cup of water can be on a table where you are creating! I wanted a fall look to the card so I added more orange and yellows to the flowers. I used Fern ink pad on the leaves to get a more Autumn feel. On the coffee ups, I used Liquid Glass to make the coffee look “wet”.

On the inside of the card, I used a sentiment from the SugarPea Designs and the sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.
