I Love You, no Coffee

It’s that time again for the Summer Coffee Lover’s Bloghop!  Here’s my first card for the blog hop.  All the stamps/products are Close To My Heart, except the stamp “Coffee” which is from Sugar Pea Design’s Caffeine Addict.and the Liquid Pearl that is in the center of the sequins.  You can join us in the bloghop as it goes from June 23 – June 30.  Lots of time to have a cup of java and do some creating! I used the following sketch from Mojo Monday.  It is, in fact, their last sketch. =(  So sad for this to be their farewell.

Prickly Pear Workshop Your Way  has all the components used along with the sequins which are great fun.  Jack Cardmaking Stamp set has this cute little bear and the coffee cup, both of which have thin cut dies to match! Sweetness!

I crossed out “you” on the sentiment with a red Shin Touche Marker and took “Coffee” and stamped it above it.  I used 3D foam tape to lift the sentiment and bear up.

My finishing touches were to use a Shin Han Touch marker to color the liquid in the cup brown to look like coffee.  Liquid Glass is used to create the shiny on the coffee, eyes, and nose.   Liquid Pearl was added to the center of the sequins to pull more of the coffee color in.
