Happy Father’s Day

Here is a wonderful Father’s Day card using the Jack papers and the Jack Cardmaking stamp set and it’s blessed set of thin cut dies! I can’t tell you how much I appreciate not having to fussy cut and thin cuts are wonderful when you are making a card (I prefer the Cricut for mass production).

My card design and inspiration comes from the final Mojo Monday sketch, 500. It’s so sad to see Mojo Monday end. However, it’s another season for Julee. We can say a fond farewell to her, be grateful for all the inspiration she’s provided us over the past years and wish her the best for her new chapter of life!

This bear is so stinking cute! I love the little arms and different things you can put it in there.

Use a brown, or in this case, kraft paper, and you don’t have to color. Sometimes, time is of the essence and solid cardstock or kraft paper rocks to make less work but still keep the completed card looking awesome. Did I mention that you can get all cardstock AND kraft paper 25% off until June 30?

Several patterns from the Jack paper pack were used to create the different layers along with the burlap ribbon.

Colors used for stamping match the paper pack: Archival Black, Ruby, and Juniper. Color in the coffee cup with a watercolor brush and the Chocolate Ink Pad.

Use the Black and White Dots and Liquid Glass to create shine on the coffee in the coffee cup as well as the eyes and nose of the bear. Such a happy bear. Love him.
