Happy Birthday Little Dreamer

I’m working on using my scraps up and you know, I’m always have those sheets of cards left in the paper pack if I’m not doing pocket scrapbooking. I used two of them to make this card and a card design I got from Unity Stamps. The gold glitter paper and transparency are from my shaker card party. =)

You will need to cut your card base from a larger piece of cardstock because the score/fold is on the 4.25″ side at the 5.5″.
Trim down one of the 4″x6″ cards to 4″x5.25″ and put the front of the card.
Then cut 1 1/2″ from the bottom of the card, set aside to use later, and leave 1 1/2″ from the top of the card.

Glue the transparency – cut to 4.25″ x 5.5″and glue under the top part of the card.
Glue the bottom 1 1/2″ piece that you saved and glue on the bottom of the transparency.
Take the striped card that’s 3″x4″ and put in the center of the card, over the transparency and overlapping the top and bottom of the card. You’ll be able to see the transparency on the sides of the card.

Use two strips of gold glitter paper.
Stamp and cut out both the Unicorn and the banner.
Distress the banner with Thistle Ink.
Add googly eyes.

Stamp a unicorn on the inside of the card, underneath the panel so it does not show (unless you want it to).
Stamp a sentiment on the inside.
Add googly eye.
Use the Gold and Clear Shimmer Brushes on the unicorns (I did gold on the body and clear on the mane, tail, horn, and nose).
