I’m totally in love with S1609 Blessed Beyond Measure, the September Stamp Of The Month (SOM). I’m created dozens of cards with it as well as layouts. Here’s a card that is a mixed inspiration from one of my friend Karen Pederson’s creations and the Muse Challenge.
Here’s the Muse Challenge:
My pumpkin is cut out of the Cricut using the Art Philosophy Cartridge (retired now but I have two left). I stamped him in Tangerine which is a wonderful new color. It’s very rich and vibrant. It’s also one of the colors available in our new ink pad design (magnetic lids need I say more). I then colored over the top of it with our watercolor pencils to get the shading. The stem is done with Smooch from Clearsnap. Instead of going over the top with a watercolor brush I used the Shimmer Brush!
Close To My Heart now our own version of Wink of Stella called “Shimmer Brush”. I’m beyond estatic about this because I go through Clear Wink enough that I was buying it by the case!
There are two great things about our Shimmer Brush. First, the size if it. It’s it larger than Wink of Stella which means you have more shimmer! Is there every enough shimmer? I think not. Next is the price point compared to Wink Of Stella. Wink of Stella is $6.49 on Scrapbooks.com to $6.99 on Simon Says Stamps (one of my favorite online stores)and $7.88 on Amazon. CTMH Shimmer Brush is $4.95, which is a fantastic price point for more product! Don’t miss out on this deal.
I used our “Hello and Thanks” Thin Cut dies to create the “Thanks” cut out in black cardstock.
You can also see that I used some Silver Silk which I got from Fun Stampers Journey to create the splatter background. Black Shimmer Trim added on the edge of the background and texture paper from Jeepers Creepers (my featured Paper Kit of the month). Before putting on the pumpkin, I stamped the leaves and outline of the berries in Willow and Chocolate inks. Then I stamped the berries in Raspberry ink. I put Liquid Glass over the berries to make them stand out. Then I put the pumpkin down with 3D foam tape. I love the way it turned out.
Thanks for stopping by to check out my creations and corner of the internet. I hope you are inspired to create as I was from Muse challenge and my friend’s artwork. Have a blessed day!

Thanks Ardyth. When I saw the Muse card, it called out for a pumpkin!
