Last Call – Harbor Scrapbooking Gratitude Layout Class – September 22-25, 2016

Gratitude Layout – Harbor Scrapbooking Crop Class on September 22-25, 2016 – Order by September 7, 2016.

I always have a reason to be grateful and I want to remind myself of the people and things in my life for which I am grateful.  The layout I created for this is called “Gratitude” and I am unable to put up the full layout right now due to having used the awesome September Stamp of the Month on it, until September 1, 2016.  Here’s sneak peak:

HS Sneak Peak Image

The layout is pre-cut and pre-stamped for you.  All you have to do is take a picture with your phone, distress the pieces as you see fit, and assemble!!  This class is made for you to come to class and make it or make it at your cropping station, which ever works best for you.  Due to the nature of the new Fundamental Paper Packs, the background and texture paper colors will change (unless you purchase the full kit). A possible variate of this layout:

Full Kit will create this layout:

Be Happy wm 2

I have created 4 options for you on this layout.  All four options include the layout being pre-cut and pre-stamped.

Option 1: This is the base layout – $15.00.  The cardstock colors will remain the same.  The background and texture paper will be different on each of the layout because I’ll be using one pack of Enchantment Fundamental Papers to create the layouts.  The words and hearts will be cut from Gold Glitter Paper.  You’ll have Gold Shimmer Trim.

Option 2: This is Option 1 plus the Good Life Compliments – $25.00.  This will provide the glitter lagoon (turquoise) chipboard letters and hearts featured on my initial layouts (there is one for the class and one that I originally made for myself that we lifted for the design for the class. Changes are made to accommodate mass production and deal with ).  I have this picture of the Compliments because there is SO MUCH GOODNESS in each batch.  Each of the white sticker sheets is 6″x6″!  The center is not a sticker piece – it is the insert that shows everything in the 6″x6″ pack:

Option 3: This is everything in Option 1 and 2 plus the Enchanted Ribbon Pack –  $38.00.  On my original layout, I used the Peacock ribbon as part of the embellishments (in the first two options, you’ll receive Gold Shimmer Trim instead).  I love the white stitching on the sides of the Peacock ribbon.  Super cute.  Enchantment Ribbon wm

Option 4: Includes everything in the first 3 Options plus the Enchanted Fundamental Paper Pack – $61.00!!  If you purchase this option, your layout will be cut out with the same background and texture papers I used on the original layout.  You will be able to create the exactly as I made it.  With the Compliments and Ribbon Pack, you’ll be able to make several more layouts.

Be Happy Gratitude Layout

signature-transparentI created this layout as part of my S1609 Blessed Beyond Measure samples and I focused on the Gratitude sentiment in the stamp set using “Be Happy” from the Adventure Compliments for the title.

Be Happy wm 2

I used the Enchantment Fundamental Paper Pack, the Adventure Compliments, and the Enchantment Ribbon Pack.  I used the following inks: Goldrush, Saffron, New England Ivy, Pomegranate, and Chocolate.  (links to products at the end of the post).

Be Happy Left Page wm

I love the new Fundamental Compliments.  There is so much in each packet.  The above hearts, “Be Happy” are glitter and chipboard.  Great dimension and bling.  Look at how much you get in each pack, not to mention that the different materials used:

Here’s the right page:

Be Happy right page wm

I used the ribbon from the Enchantment Ribbon Collection to create the seam.

The pumpkins and leaves are cut from the Cricut Art Philosophy collection which is retired (I have 2 left) so if you have it, this makes things a little quicker.  I stamped the pumpkin in Goldrush.  I used our watercolor pencils to add dimension and shading, then going over it with Shimmer Brush.  The leaves are stamped with Saffron and Pomegranate, then using tissue, “sponged” with Saffron, New England Ivy, and Pomegranate.

We liked this layout so much, we duplicated it to create a class for September and for Harbor Scrapbooking’s PA event.  The layouts will look different (and each layout will be different) because we do not have bulk paper for the Fundamental Packs.  Because I know some peeps will want it to match, we created 4 different ways to have your kit made.  All the stamping and cutting is done for you.  With pictures, you’ll be able to assemble the pages.  You’ll need to distress the images as you desire and add the Shimmer Brush.

If you are unable to attend the event on the 10th (CropTastic) and 22-25 (Harbor Scrapbooking), I’m happy to create it for you and mail it out.  Shipping will be added to the costs.  You can contact me.

Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed day!

Blessed Beyond Measure with Muse

I’m totally in love with S1609 Blessed Beyond Measure, the September Stamp Of The Month (SOM).  I’m created dozens of cards with it as well as layouts.  Here’s a card that is a mixed inspiration from one of my friend Karen Pederson’s creations and the Muse Challenge.

IMG_5219 wm

Here’s the Muse Challenge:

My pumpkin is cut out of the Cricut using the Art Philosophy Cartridge (retired now but I have two left).  I stamped him in Tangerine which is a wonderful new color.  It’s very rich and vibrant.  It’s also one of the colors available in our new ink pad design (magnetic lids need I say more).  I then colored over the top of it with our watercolor pencils to get the shading.  The stem is done with  Smooch from Clearsnap.  Instead of going over the top with a watercolor brush I used the Shimmer Brush!

IMG_5220 wm

Close To My Heart now our own version of Wink of Stella called “Shimmer Brush”.  I’m beyond estatic about this because I go through Clear Wink enough that I was buying it by the case!

20160903_120512 wm

There are two great things about our Shimmer Brush.  First, the size if it.  It’s it larger than Wink of Stella which means you have more shimmer!  Is there every enough shimmer?  I think not.  Next is the price point compared to Wink Of Stella.    Wink of Stella is $6.49 on to  $6.99 on Simon Says Stamps (one of my favorite online stores)and $7.88 on Amazon.  CTMH Shimmer Brush is $4.95, which is a fantastic price point for more product!  Don’t miss out on this deal.

20160903_120645 WM

I used our “Hello and Thanks” Thin Cut dies to create the “Thanks” cut out in black cardstock.

IMG_5221 wm

You can also see that I used some Silver Silk which I got from Fun Stampers Journey to create the splatter background.  Black Shimmer Trim added on the edge of the background and texture paper from Jeepers Creepers (my featured Paper Kit of the month).   Before putting on the pumpkin, I stamped the leaves and outline of the berries in Willow and Chocolate inks.  Then I stamped the berries in Raspberry ink.  I put Liquid Glass over the berries to make them stand out.  Then I put the pumpkin down with 3D foam tape.    I love the way it turned out.

Thanks for stopping by to check out my creations and  corner of the internet.  I hope you are inspired to create as I was from Muse challenge and my friend’s artwork.  Have a blessed day!

Gratitude Layout Class for Harbor Scrapbooking  PA Crop – September 22-25, 2016

I’ve provided you an elegant layout to celebrate the things in your life for which you feel grateful for.  This is the first layout I made:

Be Happy mw

I created this layout for the class (designed for mass production).

IMG_5174 wmThis layout features of September Stamp of the Month – SOM S1609 Blessed Beyond Measure.  I love it!!   You have four different options for this class.  You can add additional product to your class and this will determine what your layout will look like.  The base layout look will change for the background and texture papers as they are the Enchanted Fundamental Paper Packs (I love them!) when you purchase the first three options.  Purchase the last option and your layout can look like my first layout.  All the papers are cut for you and all the images are stamped.  You distress and assemble.
