Candlelight Garden, S1512 December SOM, is really a sweet stamp set. I love canning jar as there are so many different things you can do with them! Here’s one of the first cards I made with the set. StampInkPaper posted a “Card Marker’s Choice” Challenge for this week, so I’m linking this card to that!
This is a simple card uses Pomegranate cardstock that has been run through a Cuttlebug with our Vine Embossing Folder. I mounted it on our Kraft paper which I need to use more.
The images are stamped on the watercolor paper and I used the watercolor pencils to color the images in. After that, I went over it with a wet brush to blend it.
I created a mask on a post-it note for the canning jar lid so you can’t see the stems of the flowers going into the canning jar. I like things to look right. =)
I stamped the thank you on a scrap piece of white paper and distressed it with a Brilliance Gold Dew Drop pad since I used the gold ribbon on the card and to make the bow. All and all, a simple sweet card. This card will be in the Come and Play Card Buffet for Dec/Jan.
