I love fall and made this card using Harvest Wreath, D1662 – taking both the fruit and sentiment “Autumn Harvest” from this set. I adore the new colors we added added to the Enchantment color palette…they are really amazing colors for fall.
I cut the window out from the Cricut, using Design Space. When I was checking out the weekly challenge, I realized this card would fit one of the “Heart2Heart Challenges” – Cricut Capers. I linked the card to this one. A couple of my customers asked to learn to make sky backgrounds using sponges and inks.
Part of the window inspiration was to be looking out a Harvest Moon. I added some Wink of Stella to the moon to make it glow. I feel so blessed when I get to see one! I distressed both the Pomegranate panel and the window with our sanding block which is in our Sanding Kit.
I stamped “Autumn Harvest” in chocolate ink and the fruit in a variety of different colored inks. I confess – all the new colors: Poppy, Pomegranate, Fern, Eggplant, and Saffron. Aren’t they just rich and pretty?! I distressed the sentiment with Pomegranate.
I fussy cut the fruit out and clustered it together around the sentiment. When you get a close up, you realize just how awful my fussy cutting is! Move the paper, not the scissors – tip of the day! I need to follow my own advise. Here’s the wonderful stamp set:
Thanks for stopping by to look – Have a fantastic day!
