Taste of Summer

I’m having so much fun with the Taste of Summer Paper and Stamp Set!  Just can’t get enough of them.  I created this card, more whimsical, with the vine and strawberries.

It’s a simple layered card.  Stamp the vines in Topiary.  Add a few strawberries using Hollyhock and using the “rock and roll” technique, add a bit of Ruby on the edges with the strawberry top in Topiary.  Doing the same thing, stamp a few strawberries on scrap white and cut out.   Here’s the Taste of Summer Paper (CC1038) and Stamps (CC1039).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Use the ShinTouch Markers to add the yellow for the seeds.  Then add some Liquid Glass on the seeds to create the texture of the strawberries.

Cut out some flowers from the Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge.  Color the center in with the yellow Touch marker.  Use our glue pen (one of my favorites) over the yellow and dust with prisma glitter!

Cut the tag from Cricut Artiste Cartridge and stamp it with the “yummy” stamp in Canary. Add a pennant

Add the sentiment on top, stamping in the black, wiping off the “Berry” with a wet wipe and stamping it.  Then reink the sentiment in Hollyhock and wipe off “You’re” and “Special”, lining up the sentiment and stamping again.  This is the blessing of acrlix stamps – you can see where you are stamping.  You get the two toned sentiment.
