National Scrapbooking Month and a Taste of Summer

One of the best things in May is National Scrapbooking Month and a Taste of Summer. To celebrate National Scrapbooking Month, CTMH brought us these awesome papers called “A Taste of Summer”! The colors are absolutely amazing!!

You can see the vibrancy and who doesn’t love fruit! Enjoy this paper, CC1038, for $8.95 or $11.00 after s/h/t.

We have a matching stamp set, CC1039 Taste of Summer, with the cutest fruits and sayings on it. The set is compatible with our exclusive Cricut Cartridge, Artiste! The set is $17.95 ($21.00 after s/h/t).

Here’s a cute card I made with both the Taste of Summer Papers and Stamp Set. I used the FMS 184 as the template to create it.

This card will be in the upcoming Come and Play Card Buffets! I used our Pink Glitter Paper, the Cricut Artiste to cut the sentiment tag out, and the “rock and roll” ink technique on the stamps to create the variegated color on the strawberries. Add some distressing with a sponge on the tag to add depth. I mounted it on black cardstock because it really sets of the vibrancy of the colors in the Taste of Summer paper! I love working with these colors especially after such a long winter. They make me smile!
