Using Cricut Artbooking and Chalk It Up paper this layout celebrates SG’s first day of school. It’s such a special moment and it only happens once in a child’s life!
It’s great when you can cut most of it out from the Cricut – it’s fast and simple yet the layout looks fantastic. Paper piecing is not too difficult with the right tools.
The title and ruler are cut from the Cricut Artbooking. The embellishments are from the Chalk It Up Compliments (chipboard) and Assortment (foam stickers *love*).
I love this page – lots of room for lots of pictures or embellishing or in my case both. Here I could put several pictures from her first day, including one of her new teacher. I was able to capture’s SG’s unsureness of going to school in the top left corner and work my way down to the bottom where you can see her smiling and having her a great time! Creating a “Tic-Tac-Toe”, I cut out the pieces from the Cricut (bless the Cricut)! Chalk It Up papers and embellishments are a must have for anyone with kids – all the way through college! This layout is from the “Reflections” How To Book, a must-have fundamental scrapbooking idea book. It’s a mix and match page book to create layouts and the foundation of CTMH’s scrapbooking How To Books.
Check out Chalk It Up as we wrap up Teacher Appreciation week!!
Hugs and Happy Creating!
