Beautiful Day

It’s a beautiful day and this card says it all! I saw this card or something close to when browsing the boards but when I went back to find it to give credit to the maker, I could not locate it again.

I added a black to mat the top layer and glitter on the butterfly (from A1165 Capture the Day). On one version I made, I actually put “Happy Mother’s Day” under “It’s a Beautiful Day”. Shadow stamps and inks were big back in the early 2000’s – like 2002….I have several Hero Arts ones still. Wooden mounted for that matter.

I’m so glad to see CTMH create some because they are great background stamps with C1608 Brushstrokes. We have some many great colors in the Whimsy palette use that are subtle enough to be backgrounds for other stamps such as Capture the Day. It’s really a simple, beautiful card.
