First Butterfly Shaker Card

First Butterfly Shaker Card

This is one of the shaker cards that will be on the Shaker Card Party Buffet.  The stamps, paper, and embellishments are all CTMH.  The shaker and die are from Queen and Company.  The paper is Hello Lovely which will be with us for the next 2 weeks before it’s retired.  The Sugar Rush gems retire and are already gone!  So be sure to check them out.

The stamp set is from the Cricut Flower Market Cricut Cartridge Bundle.  It’s one of my favorite stamp sets to use because all of the sentiments are a mixed font and look marvelous.

The shaker is full of sequins and diamonds from Queen and Company.  The butterfly is made from Sorbet cardstock and I put the cut outs from the butterfly wings inside the butterfly shaker to provide a consistant solid background for the shaker contents.  The way I have it placed on the card is over different papers and didn’t look right.   Using the cutouts fixed that.  The Queen and Company shaker kits come with the transparencies for you to use.

March Paper of the Month: Dreaming Big

Dreamin Big Happy Place

This paper pack is my favorite My Reflections Paper Packs from the Seasonal Expressions.  Did you know you can get it for free?  The colors and paper are fresh and remind me of being outside which is were I like to spend my time.  See the end of the post for the links to all the Dreamin’ Big products.  The “Happy Place” page is a universal page because everyone has their own happy place.  I really like this idea of taking the one page and having it a part of your home decor.   You can get the picture holder from your local craft store.

I just had to share these cards made using the Dreamin’ Big Cardmaking Thin Cut bundle because they are beautiful.  The bundle is 25% off and will count towards a free paper pack.  What?  Free paper?  Read to the end of the post!

March Stamp of the Month (SOM): S1703 Tea-rrific

This is also my favorite SOM in the Seasonal Expressions.  I love coffee and tea so this set is my cup of tea (pun intended).  I’ve had a great time making some cards and pages with this so be watching for posts this month featuring this art work.  It’s $17.95 or $5.00 with a $50.00 product order.  With that $50.00 order you can get this super cute set saving you $12.95 AND a free My Reflection Paper Pack (value $9.95).

2017 Incentive Trip Customer Appreciation Special – FREE Paper:

Beautiful and You can get FREE

Beautiful and You can get FREE:

Here’s the last layout for the Hello Lovely WYW.  For the free, read to the end of the post.

It’s a beautiful layout using more of the patterned paper from the pack.  You add clusters in different spots of embellishments using the Hello Lovely Compliments.

The glitter gold gems are awesome embellishments around the stickers included in the pack.   I think you could use this layout for a prom date or other fancy affair besides a wedding.

These hearts are different – they are like a dark gold plastic.  They add 3D without being big and bulky.  =)

Here’s another cluster with the stickers, gold gems, and the Blush Shimmer Ribbon.

The title of this layout is also in the dark gold plastic.  It’s nice to use something different for the title besides stickers and Cricut cuts once  in a while.  I thought another use of this layout would be a sweet candid shot you took of your favorite person.

Congrats Card

Congrats Card

I mentioned in an earlier post that I’m back to liking the white space on a card.  With this card, the embossed background with the Confetti Stars Embossing Folder looks amazing.

CTMH has a great Hello Lovely Cardmaking Kit.  This is not one of their patterns.  It’s a sample of another card you could make if you want to go off the beaten path and do something different.

I love the Blush Shimmer Ribbon!  If you look at it one way, it’s pink.  If you look at another way, you can see the rich gold that shows above.   The Grey Enameled Gems are subtle and finish off the card.   Check out the supplies below and make your own Congrats card.
