Live Beautifully in depth

Live Beautifully in depth.

Live Beautifully is amazing paper and I wanted to take a post to just showcase how beautiful and amazing it is.   The paper has gold foil accents on some of it.  Two sheets of it are a white with gold polka dots and a white with the rose outline in gold.   Pretty, pretty!  Most of the paper is two-sided and they all have a zip-strip so you can use the little strip you cut off in your projects.

There are two of sheet of paper design in the pack.  I can think of so many different occasions this paper will work for. Proms, weddings, formal events, Mother’s Day, birthdays, and heritage pictures to name a few.  The papers are modern and retro at the same time.  Wait until you see the workshop layouts on my Class Page!

The stamp set is great and wait until you see the cards I made where I embossed the roses with a rose gold embossing powder I found during the Coffee Lover’s Blog Hop!  So pretty.  The stamps are large enough to work as titles on your scrapbooking pages or as cards.  I love the saying “she believed she could so she did”.  The power of your own thoughts.  The color of your roses can determine the message of your layout or your cards.  Definitely a stamp set that will be usable long past the Live Beautifully papers.

Chalkboard Frame Schedule

We needed to have a flexible object for SG’s schedule so I made one with the Chalkboard Frame.  I’ve had this around in my stash since the beginning of the new Annual Inspirations but never got around to doing something with it.

0dead83e-71ae-4c71-89d5-ceb556f01e1dRed is not one of our colors so we changed it.  I sanded down the frame a little bit to allow the new paint to adhere better.  I did the first coat in white paint (picked up from your local craft store).  Then SG picked out the  Z2295 Lagoon Reinker.  We mixed the reinker in with the white paint until we got a color she liked.  A couple of coats of this until we liked the way it looked:

Magnetic Frame

I used the Cricut to cut the vinyl letters out.  Chalk to create the schedule.  This created the flex we needed to adjust things as she changes or life changes.

Magnetic Frame

SG is very pleased with the end product! I like that it’s on the wall, at her height and easily readable by all of us.  If she’s got an extra activity on a Monday night vs a Thursday afternoon, we can adjust the schedule quickly.  The end color goes well with her room or our living area.

Added bonus is that the frame is magnetic so we can change or add magnets to it. I know the vinyl can be removed should we need to alter the use of the frame, adding more flex/usefulness over the years.  It’s nice to create some home decor that can be easily changed as the needs change.  It becomes an investment.

Hugs and Happy Creating!

More on Year Noted Paper Kit

I have really enjoyed playing with the delightful paper colors in the “Year<<Noted” paper kit.  I choose to get mine with the mini book.  Noted Mini Book 1 WM

The colors are soft yet bright – definitely hinting to Spring.  I made a Christmas present for my husband by using Studio J, Hopscotch Picture My Life (PML) (don’t you just love that the cards are sold without page protectors now!!), Hopscotch Compliments and Assortment.  I love the gold stickers in the kit (stars and pennant banner). Here’s another picture:Noted Mini 3 WMI used the stamp set from “Year<<Noted” to create a collage stamp to stamp the light blue paper which is the bottom layer.  It’s stamped in Desert Sand.  A great benefit of acrlix stamps and clear blocks is the ability to create your down stamps!   Monica from CTMH Home Office does this great video clip which adds more information about what’s in the Year<<Noted kit and thoughts on using it:

Be watching for more posts on what I did with Studio J and the PML cards in this project!!

Hugs and have a creative day! Blog: Shop:
